About this Event

Join us for a hugely exciting evening with bestselling crime author Patricia Cornwell to discuss her incredible new memoir True Crime.

Known for her international bestselling thriller series about forensic pathologist Dr Kay Scarpetta, Patricia Cornwell is now ready to tell the story that rivals any of her previous work: her own.

Patricia Cornwell leaves no stone unturned in this deeply candid account of her life, offering inspiring insight into what made her into the international sensation she is today.

Burke said of the acquisition, ‘It is a true pinch-me moment to be publishing Patricia’s achingly honest memoir, True Crime. From Patricia’s traumatic childhood to harrowing near-death experiences, from overcoming the biggest of obstacles on her way to becoming the creative powerhouse and bestselling legend she is today, no stone is left unturned. This is a deeply candid account of an incredible life and as you would expect, an unputdownable and exceptional read.

The cover of True Crime features an iconic image of Patricia Cornwell taken by renowned photographer Annie Leibovitz.
