Pastel Workshop with Suzanne Skoras

Suzanne (Sue) brings her love of soft pastel presented in an impressionistic form. Her beginners' workshop will take participants to a meadow garden where flowers will be unearthed against a tree-lined field. The workshop will include discussion of complementary color and painting composition.
Participants are encouraged to bring photos of their favorite flower and wear clothing that can get dirty. Soft pastel can create some dust and is applied with your fingers. Soft pastels, papers, paper towels, and hand wipes will be provided. Examples of additional soft pastel painting material will be presented to participants wishing to explore the medium further.
