About this Event
────────
Have you ever wanted to make the best use of your time, your garden and your hands? 🍝
The Shakti Support Council, a group of thought partners committed to upholding the vision of Shakti in the Mountains, created this event to highlight the benefits derived from slow living while also addressing food security. Over the course of the dinner, we will guide a discussion which includes topics such as budget, time, and health considerations to home cooking as well as practices that encourage food sharing.
Join us on Thursday, August 20 at 6 pm for a simple meal of fresh handmade pasta, garden fresh red sauce and pesto, salad and bread to celebrate the bounty of the garden and pantry. Most - if not all - the components of this delicious, healthy meal can be found in your pantry or garden.
Recipes will be provided so you can create your own variations to feed those gathered at your table.
Registration is required so we can serve you well. 🍅
