Join us for Pass the POTATO—a community gathering that connects neighbors through food, place, and purpose. This event is built around the POTATO Movie—a 90-minute documentary celebrating everyday Idahoans doing Idaho things the Idaho way.

After the film, Shannon McGuire will facilitate a kitchen table conversation that invites every person to share their Idaho story. Through structured prompts and reflection, participants begin to see how much they have in common with the neighbors sitting right next to them.

About Shannon:

Shannon McGuire is, above all else, a mom—a Master of Making. As a community wellbeing strategist, she has spent more than 15 years helping Idaho families, organizations, and communities build stronger connection. She is the founder of Supreme MOMs and executive producer of the POTATO Movie—a project born from her belief that everyday people carry extraordinary stories worth telling. Her memoir, To (M)others from the Hood, shares her own story of conquering fear, uncertainty, chaos, and division. Shannon believes that when people reclaim their story, they live more days feeling good about being themselves—making the world a much better place.
