This first of its kind improvised serial production is back for its twenty-first installment. We continue to follow the exploits of two “partners” who may need audience suggestions to help create their evolving characters and decide where the next investigation will lead them. Murder, blackmail, jewel heists and kidnapping are just a few of the cases these two private eyes might be sent to solve. It’s not a comedy, it’s a mystery.
Each installment of Partners in Crime has a guest performer and for this show we are joined again by the fantastic Lisa Rowland!
Lisa Rowland is an improvisor, teacher and trainer based in the San Francisco Bay Area, and she has traveled all over the country and world performing and teaching improv. A mainstage company member at BATS Improv, and a founding member of Awkward Dinner Party, she was voted Best Actress by the SF Bay Guardian newspaper in 2012. In addition to teaching improv to adults of all experience levels, she is also the lucky coach of two wonderful high school improv teams in San Mateo, CA. She also a trainer and uses improv to support positive communication, collaboration and teamwork skills in the workplace. She has lead improv-based workshops for companies such as Google, Genentech, JetBlue, Virgin America and Oracle.
This is a fully improvised thriller created with the help of our incredible guest improvisers and perhaps the occasional audience assist. What could go wrong?!? Don’t miss this one!
