About this Event
Description: Let's warm up during these winter days by hiking in local parks. Join Latino Outdoors on an interpretation hike at Briones Regional Park. The hike is about 3.5 miles long, and is rated moderate due to some inclines; about 994 ft of elevation gain; and uneven ground with the possibility of mud on the trail. As we hike, we will learn about the plant diversity and wildlife diversity that live in the East Bay. This hike is family-friendly.

Location: Alhambra Creek Staging Area - Parking lot, Brookwood Dr, Martinez, CA 94553
Parking: Parking is $5 if the Kiosk is attended.
Amenities: There are picnic areas to sit down, but there aren’t any bathrooms at the location.
Gear: Bring a long sleeve shirt, long pants, a sweater, a jacket and other warm layers, closed toe shoes or boots, a beanie or a hat. Binoculars are optionals.
Snacks and water will be provided by Latino Outdoors!
