Pulaski Park Comes Alive: Parties in the Park Returns for Summer 2026!
The Northampton Arts Council and the City of Northampton are thrilled to announce the return of Parties in the Park, the city’s free weekly outdoor DJ and dance series!
Every Wednesday evening from July 8 through August 26, 2026, Pulaski Park will transform into a vibrant, open-air dance floor celebrating community, music, and the cultural vitality of downtown Northampton.
Hosted by everyone's favorite master of ceremonies, Trusty Rusty, the 2026 season features an eclectic, rotating cast of premier regional DJs spinning everything from reggae and global beats to classic soul, rare grooves, and disco.
🎧 The 2026 Weekly Lineup & Spotlights
Week 1 · July 8 | Jake Krauth – Deejay Theory
Theme: MORE LOVE INT’L
Kick off the summer season with "Global dance vibes" as Deejay Theory brings his curated MORE LOVE INT’L theme to the park. Expect infectious riddims and international energy.
Week 2 · July 15 | Justin Cohen – Studebaker Hawk
From Disco classics to deep cuts, get ready for "4 on the floor" funky grooves explicitly designed to light up Pulaski Park.
Week 3 · July 22 | Dave Hall – DJ Trends
Catch a masterclass from an on-air pro. DJ Trends, known for his regular airwaves presence on New York's legendary WBLS radio station, brings his elite mixing to downtown Hamp.
Week 4 · July 29 | Adam Pelletier – Apel Beats
Experience "uplifting funky dance beats" paired with a live guitar performance right on the dance floor.
Week 5 · August 5 | Dan Belhumeur – DJ Donuts
Theme: International Funk
Take a trip around the world through sound as DJ Donuts serves up a heavy dose of global funk grooves.
Week 6 · August 12 | Joshua Jenkins – Iosnua (with DJ Quills)
Expect an "all vinyl, cross-genre classics + deep cuts" set. Joshua J. Jenkins (@iosnua) is a designer and visual artist based in Hartford, CT. He is half of the vinyl DJ project Pressing Plant (@pressing_plant) and co-owner of the multi-brand boutique and media agency CAF/Cafeteria (@thecafbycafeteria).
Week 7 · August 19 | George William Meyers – Wooly Bully (Presented by DJ Cashman & Snack Attack)
DJ Cashman and Snack Attack team up to bring an all-vinyl night of funk, soul, and R&B. Get ready to dance to the timeless sounds of the 1960s and 70s, from Motown to classic Girl Group hits.
Week 8 · August 26 | Malik Abdul-Rahmaan
Our season finale features veteran producer and DJ Malik Abdul-Rahmaan. Malik has spent the past few years opening his deep musical archive to audiences from Tokyo to Toronto. A regular presence at respected spaces like Brooklyn’s vaunted Public Records and Dante’s HiFi in Miami—as well as a resident at the newly minted Shy Boy HiFi in Dallas—Malik’s sets explore the vast universe of Black musical expression, moving effortlessly from jazz, soul, and funk to deep house and beyond.
