Part II: The Effect of Microaggressions in Education and the Workplace, an important in-person community conversation focused on awareness, education, and actionable solutions.

Microaggressions can often be subtle, yet their effects can have a lasting impact on individuals, families, students, educators, employees, and the communities in which we live and work.

This engaging panel discussion will explore how microaggressions appear within educational settings and professional environments, how unconscious and implicit biases influence everyday interactions, and the emotional, academic, and professional impact these experiences can have.

Attendees will hear perspectives from respected leaders and professionals who will provide insight, lived experience, and practical strategies for recognizing, addressing, and reducing microaggressions.

Featured Panelist

Dr. Stephen R. D. Glass
President, Orange Unified School District

Dr. Glass returns to bring extensive leadership and educational experience to the conversation and will provide valuable perspective on the effects of microaggressions within educational systems, leadership environments, and the communities they serve.

Erin Hill, PsyD

Dr. Hill returns to continue this important conversation following Part I of the series. She will provide a psychological and behavioral perspective on the emotional and interpersonal effects of microaggressions and offer insight into how individuals and communities can move toward healthier, more inclusive interactions.
