Aylesbury’s biggest free music festival returns this August bank holiday weekend. Get ready for an unforgettable weekend of live entertainment, family fun and community spirit. With something for all ages, visitors can enjoy an exciting programme of music, activities and attractions throughout the weekend. Events are brought to you by Aylesbury Town Council and supported by a number of charities and organisations.
Parklife Weekend includes:
Live in the Park: Saturday 29 August, 12 noon–9:30pm
Live in the Park launches Parklife Weekend 2026 with a day of continuous live music across two stages and an exciting programme of entertainment for all ages. Hosted by Stoke Mandeville Hospital Radio's Dez Kay.
Taking to the stage will be: Saffi McQueen, Leo Saunders, Gabriella Garraway, The Nevers, Piers Nolan, Jumping the Shark, HayLee Duo, Death by Monkey, Joe & The Jess, Velvet Grip, The Chartaholics, These Certain People and Vikkie Ware. Not forgetting our headliners... The Eclectix! The Eclectix are a covers band that can make all occasions an unforgettable experience, going the extra mile to make sure you get exactly what our audiences want. If there’s a song, style or genre close to your heart, this band will bring it to life.
Newly reimagined for 2026 is the Festival Village where you will find a mini event all of it's own. Showcasing a range of local organisations, groups and charities, attending to provide free hands-on activities, fundraising for amazing causes, as well as market stalls offering the opportunity for visitors to take home a souvenir of their day and light refreshments for sale.
The Radley Tent, hosted by Radley Windows and Doors, will provide a variety of children’s entertainment from 12 noon until 6pm. DJ Dan Blaze will take over from 6.30pm for the return of Club in the Park – the family friendly retro rave experience for all! The event will also feature popular local bars and caterers running all day long.
Battle of the Bands & Bandeoke: Sunday 30 August, 12 noon–6.30pm
Watch at The Radley Tent as bands compete for a chance to win a spot on the main stage at the 2027 Live in the Park event and an 8-hour professional studio recording day with event partners XYZ Music Academy. Applications close on Sunday 19 July so there's still time to join us for this upbeat start to Sunday's event.
This will be followed by Bandeoke - your chance to sing along to your favourite song alongside the live house band, with thanks to the talented musicians from XYZ Music Academy! Free festival crafts will be available, as well as glitter tattoos for a donation to the Mayor’s Charity.
Proms in the Park: Sunday 30 August, 7.15–9.30pm
To round off the 2026 event, Proms in the Park brings you an amazing evening of British classics alongside Proms classics. Bring picnics, rugs, flags and your singing voices for this traditional event, with Aylesbury Concert Band accompanied by local musicians and our amazing soloist. Get ready to laugh along with our stand-up comedian during the interval, and a spectacular firework display will finish the entire weekend at 9:30pm.
Church in the Park will return on the Sunday morning from 10:30am to 12:30pm. Church in the Park is organised and delivered by Aylesbury Church Network.
