This is a wonderful event where Fredericksburg, Spotsylvania, and surrounding communities can come out and support the Parkinson's community by running or walking the distance of their choice.The 5K is a mix of a trail and pavement run. This event is timed. Ages 12 and up.
The 1 mile course is all paved and wheelchair accessible. The 1 mile course is not officially timed. All ages welcome.
All of the proceeds will be going to our YMCA Parkinson's/Therapeutic Wellness Department and to our local Parkinson's Association.
Price increase and T-shirt deadline: Register before midnight on Friday, March 20th for t-shirt guarantee and before the event price increases.
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
Race day Schedule:
8:00AM-8:45AM - Packet Pick up
9:00 AM - 5K Start
9:10 AM - 1 Mile Start
PACKET PICKUP
Saturday, April 11th from 10am-12pm at the Ron Rosner Family YMCA.
Race Day packet pickup available. Sunday, April 12th from 8am - 8:45am at the Ron Rosner Family YMCA.
AWARDS
5k Awards: Top 3 Overall and Top 3 Age Groups Male and Female.
Age Groups are as follows: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+.
1 mile awards: Each finisher will receive a medal.
