Breakout Options
Mental Health: Raising Resilient Kids (Mollie Creel LCSW & Gerald Meredith NP) - Hear from two mental health professionals about the current mental health challenges teens and children face today and how you as a parent can recognize and support your children through these difficulties.
Family Discipleship (Wes Fleming & Caleb Creel) - Join parents like you to discuss the purpose and goal of family discipleship at home. We aim to equip parents through topics like: parents as primary disciple makers, what is family discipleship, and faith conversations with kids.
Today's Technology Troubles (Dr. Nicole Miller) - Social media has changed greatly in the last decade. Recent studies reveal the potential harmful effects of excessive social media use, including exposure to harmful content, cyberbullying, online predators as well as contributing to negative body image, decreased attention span, and social isolation. We want to provide parents with the knowledge to help children and teenagers navigate these technology troubles and learn how to thrive in life online and in the real world.
Preschool Parenting Puzzles (Dr. Jenny Rose, 10:00am session only)- Unlocking puzzles of parenting preschoolers in a new era: from screen time to social skills to tantrums and Kindergarten readiness, gather tips from a pediatrician on training up a child in the way he should go.
Lunch Provided: Enjoy lunch after the 11:00 AM service.
Childcare Available.
