This program is an essential first step in navigating the complicated special education system with confidence. You'll gain valuable insights into the special education process, discover a wealth of resources, and connect with other parents on the same journey. Participants will need to bring a copy of their child's IEP with them. Don’t miss this opportunity to empower yourself and advocate for your child's education. This is a free 2-day IN PERSON event.
Accepted participants are provided a complimentary hotel room and meals.
This is an adults-only event, and childcare is not provided.
- DAY 1 - July 13th: 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
- DAY 2 - July 14th: 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
*There are a limited number of spots available for Virginia parent(s)/guardians, so please apply early.*
The $30 registration fee will be refunded after the event to those accepted participants who attend the training in its entirety and meet the requirements of the event.
