Join the new Parent and Child Mermaid taster session running at Talbot Primary School, Talbot Drive, Wallisdown, Poole BH12 5ED.During these sessions swimmers will have full access to all their mermaid fins and tails. They will have the opportunity to safely learn how to move around the pool, with different skills and movement patterns being introduced.
There will also be some photo and video opportunities to keep a little memento of their experience. These will be sent to you after the session via a We-transfer link. Photo permission forms will be given at the beginning of the session.
To take part in these sessions participants must be able to competently pass a small swim test at the beginning of the session including:
Minimum age 6 years old
Swim 25 metres confidently and 5m underwater
Be able to tread water in both shallow and deep water
Be able to demonstrate a basic dolphin kick for 5 metres.
