Paranormal Author Maxim W. Furek Appearance
Maxim W. Furek’s background spans psychology, addiction, music journalism, and the paranormal. He holds a master’s degree in communications from Bloomsburg University and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Aquinas College. He has interviewed Ed and Lorraine Warren, white witch Dr. Frederick Lamonte Santee, and Annabelle handler Dan Rivera, and has appeared on Coast to Coast with George Noory, Exploring the Bizarre, and Art Bell’s Midnight in the Desert. A frequent conference speaker, he has also contributed to Fate Magazine, Paranormal Underground, and Strange Knocks.
Furek is the author of numerous rock biographies and paranormal books, including The Smurl Haunting: When Ed and Lorraine Came to Town; Paranormal Apocalypse: Is This How It Ends?; Coal Region Hoodoo: Paranormal Tales from Inside the Pit; and The Lost Tribes of Bigfoot. He has also written extensively about Richard Sharpe Shaver and appears in the forthcoming documentary The Man Who Invented Flying Saucers, as well as the award-winning short documentary The Shaver Mystery.
