Paradiso Presents Lovie (US)

We’re excited to welcome Lovie (US)  to Paradiso Music Room for a special night of music on 5 June.

Lovie is a DJ from Brooklyn, New York, known for her warm and soulful sound. Her sets move through disco, funk, jazz, house, and R&B, all played with care and feeling. She loves slow grooves, deep rhythms and timeless tracks that bring people together on the dance floor.

Her musical discovery began in the digital music age: a young lover of local radio and after school MTV marathons, her early mixes took shape in the form of burned CDs she made for her friends. After relocating from her hometown of Washington, D.C. to New York in 2020, Lovie's unique selection of soulful, spiritual music swiftly ushered her into New York's local music scene.

Since moving to New York, Lovie has become a key part of the local music scene. She runs a weekly radio show on Brooklyn’s Lot Radio, where she shares music from her personal collection. Her love for music and focus on the listening experience have earned her a spot on Mixmag’s Top 25 Breakthrough DJs and a residency at the well-known Brooklyn club Public Records.

Lovie has played at major venues and art spaces around the world, and her club sets are all about connection,  linking the mind, body and soul. Expect a warm welcoming dance floor and music that feels good from start to finish.

Supporting the night is Millie, setting the tone and keeping the energy flowing.
