Paper To Petal Social

Join us on June 7th, for an afternoon of crafting, conversation, and creativity at Paper to Petal Social — a hands-on crepe paper flower workshop and social hour inspired by sculptural floral design and playful ikebana-style arrangements.

Hosted by Sara Yip, a freelance art instructor and fellow creative passionate about creating warm, artistic spaces for people to slow down, connect, and reconnect with their creativity. Through these workshops, Sara hopes to offer a small pause from the rush of everyday life — a space where anyone, regardless of experience, can make something beautiful with their hands and leave feeling inspired.

All materials will be provided. Guests are invited to bring a small vase or vessel of their choice to make the experience more personal — a small bowl, candle stick holder, bud vase, or tiny pot all work beautifully. A limited selection of vases will also be available for purchase during the workshop.

Together, we’ll explore and craft at least five unique crepe paper blooms and stems, guiding you through techniques for shaping, layering, and arranging your flowers into a one-of-a-kind floral composition to take home. No experience is needed — just curiosity and a love for making beautiful things.

What to Expect ✿

✿ Craft 5 Custom Paper Blooms
Learn the techniques behind crepe paper flower making as we explore and create at least five unique paper blooms together, inspired by sculptural floral design and playful ikebana arrangements.

✿ Create a Personalized Arrangement
Bring your favorite small vase or vessel (a bowl, candle holder, small pot, bud vase — anything goes!) and leave with a floral arrangement that feels uniquely you.

✿ All Materials Provided
We’ll provide everything you need — crepe paper, floral stems, tools, specialty materials, and guidance throughout the process. Just bring yourself and your creativity.
