Come on out to the park for our first annual Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math (STEAM) day! For the art and engineering portion, we will be making fun paper pop-up insects! Participants will explore the intersection of engineering and natural science as they construct three-dimensional insects from paper. Bring beetles, butterflies, dragonflies and more to life — watching flat sheets transform into creatures that leap off the page.This program is geared towards ages 8 and older. Stop by the Visitor Center any time between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. All materials will be provided.
All vehicles entering the park need a valid Minnesota State Park vehicle permit which is $7 for the day or $35 for a year.
