Weixian paper-cutting from Hebei Province is famous for its intricate hand-cut designs and vibrant hand-painted colours. In this workshop, participants will explore the history of this unique folk art before colouring specially prepared paper-cut designs inspired by both Chinese tradition and Edinburgh's local landscape.

Participants begin with a small peach motif to learn colour application techniques before progressing to a larger Edinburgh Castle design.
