Paper Bag Puppets

Create a puppet of an Ice Age animal using crayons, construction paper and paper bags. This program is for park visitors of all ages and is kid friendly.
Date: Sunday, August 2nd, 2026
Time: 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm
Location: Ice Age Fossils State Park - Check in with the front desk
Need to Know
• Minors under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
• The location of this program (indoors or outdoors) will be determined the morning of the program.
What to Expect
• Visitors will be creating their own Ice Age animal puppet using basic craft materials.
• We will be using construction paper, crayons/markers/colored pencils, glue, paper bags, and safety scissors.
Fees & Registration
• The $3 per person (kids 12 and under are free) entry fee applies.
• There is no additional cost for this program.
• Drop in anytime between 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm. No registration required.
