About this Event

Ever wanted to try bike camping without riding hundreds of kilometres into the wilderness? This is your chance.

Join the YEG Bike Coalition’s Ward papastew ambassadors for a relaxed, self-supported overnight adventure exploring Edmonton’s only ward with legal camping opportunities. We’ll ride together at a social pace, carry our own gear, share a campfire, and enjoy a summer evening outdoors — all without leaving the city.

This ride is designed to be welcoming and low-pressure. Whether you’re a seasoned bikepacker or trying overnight camping by bike for the first time, you’re welcome here.

Bring your bike, camping gear, snacks, water, and good vibes.
