What does being a good ally actually look like in everyday life?
This panel discussion is set to include representatives from the local LGBTQ+ community, including:
- Stockport LGBTQ+ Network
A network of local LGBTQ+ organisations - collaborating to improve the lives, visibility and safety of LGBTQ+ people living and working in the borough - Be/Here
Stockport-based queer mental health support service - including therapy, workshops and community support - Stockport LGBT+ Plus
Stockport’s oldest LGBT+ social group - with regular monthly social meetings and a bi-monthly online support group for neurodiverse and pan-disabled members - Forward Stockport LGBT+
Provides a visible and dedicated safe space for local LGBT+ folks, family and friends, to meet, participate and share with the wider community - Rainbow Roofs
Raises the voices of LGBT+ residents in social housing and the issues impacting them. They are a group focused on support, action and socialising
This free event will take place upstairs in Studio 2 of Stockroom, and will only be open to ticket holders. 🎟️
The upstairs floor can be accessed by stairs or lift. Refreshments will be provided.
There will will also be an opportunity for the public to ask questions to the panel. Keep questions respectful and relevant to the discussion. 💬
