Painting Wooden Wonders

Ever wanted to take creativity to the next level? Come make beautiful painted landscapes on pieces of natural raw wood. Our instructor will teach you an easy step-by-step process to create mountainscapes with acrylic paint. You will learn how to layer paints, how color impacts this layering, and how to paint detailed mountains with trees. Wood absorbs paint differently from canvases or paper. In this class, you will also learn how to paint on a new material as well. You can use your paintings to be wall hangings, ornaments, coasters, or any creative idea you have. This class will progress through seasonal paintings. All levels of experience are welcome.

Three packages are available for this class:

• Package one includes three pieces of circular wood in varying sizes of 2 to 4 inches in width and height
• Package two includes two pieces of rectangular wood with a 2-inch height and 6-inch width
• Package three includes one piece of rectangular wood and one piece of circular wood of the same sizes as above
