About this Event
Join this hands-on course exploring the traditional Indo-Persian technique of miniature painting through the story of the Simurgh, a mythical bird from Persian literature.
The Simurgh is a powerful symbol of transformation and self-recognition, carried through centuries of poetry and painting. In this 4-week course (May 2 - 23) held every Saturday, participants will be guided through the process of creating their own miniature painting while learning foundational techniques, materials, and approaches rooted in the Indo-Persian tradition.
Open to all levels, this course invites a slow, attentive way of working—engaging with both process and meaning.
