This event brings together subject matter experts and solutions that other regulators have employed to help you move beyond the "checklist" mentality and foster a culture of lifelong learning and accountability.

Attendees can expect a curriculum rooted in evidence-based methodologies, specifically curated to meet the diverse needs of health regulators. The program is divided into three core pillars:

• Advanced Reflective Practice & Self-Assessment: Go deep into the mechanics of self-directed learning. You will learn how to design and implement frameworks that encourage members to critically evaluate their own practice and identify meaningful areas for growth.
• Strategic Remediation Opportunities: Moving beyond punitive measures, these sessions focus on proactive strategies for remediation. Learn how to support members through structured growth plans when competence gaps are identified.

• Diverse Regulatory Methodologies: Recognizing that "one size does not fit all," the workshop presents a variety of approaches. Whether you represent a large health college or a smaller non-health regulator, you will gain insights that are adaptable to your specific legislative and operational context.

This program is specifically tailored for those who oversee or influence Continuing Competence programming, including:

• Alberta Federation of Regulated Health Professions (AFRHP) affiliate staff and leadership

• College Council and Competence Committee members
