Painting and Sketching Landscape

This Painting and Sketching Landscape workshop offers a structured yet open environment to deepen your engagement with landscape.

Working from a curated range of reference material and with guided exercises and demonstrations, you’ll experiment with painting and drawing techniques and processes to create personal impressions of landscape that feel both immediate and considered.

Emphasis is placed on process over polish, encouraging a visual language that reflects your own way of seeing, and prepares you to document your own personal encounters with landscape.

Suitable for all levels.

Tea, coffee and snacks provided, participants to bring their own lunch.

All participants will receive a travel size watercolour sketchbook, a waterbrush and a small watercolour palette with enough paint to complete any exercises started in the studio.
