You are invited to a painting party with a reflective twist! Join artist, Sister Michelle Walka, as we explore creative expression and prayer practice. Using simple rules to guide our time, we will engage in a process that focuses on connecting our whole selves: mind, body, and spirit. By the end of the time together, you will have a beautiful and unique painting. All creative/artistic levels are welcome. Bio:
Sister Michelle Walka (she/her) is an artist, rostered deacon, and sister in the Deaconess Community of the ELCA. As the Director of Beloved Art and Practice, she leads experiences centered in creative and contemplative expression; providing space to deeply engage in the powerful and sacred acts of narrative sharing, awareness, and healing. Michelle enjoys lingering with a good cup of coffee and many outdoor adventures with her husband, Keith.
