Paint Together and Swap Canvas Class in San Francisco

Enjoy a memorable date night while creating paintings together.

Choose whatever you’d like to paint: flowers, a landscape, an animal, or even a portrait of each other. You don’t need to be an artist. Just have fun with it.

Toward the end of the class, your instructor will ask you to switch places. Add something to your partner’s painting, then switch back and finish your own. Now you have to decide what to do with the unexpected addition your partner made.

It’s a fun way to learn something new about each other, make something together, and go home with two paintings that tell a story about your date.

What you'll get:

You'll get a beautiful handmade masterpiece on canvas (8x10 in.), renewed creative energy, and memories of a truly inspiring evening with a glass of wine or another beverage.

What to bring:

Nothing! We'll provide everything you need for the workshop, including an apron, all art materials, and step-by-step guidance.

Knowledge required:

Beginner-friendly! No prior art experience is needed. Experienced artists are just as welcome. Everyone works at their own pace and can choose a level of detail and creative challenge that feels right for them.

Alive Space Studio is a short 7-minute walk from the Civic Center BART station and just 2 minutes to the newly revamped, clean SF City Hall Plaza.

Street parking is free after 6 PM and on Sunday. Paid parking is also available at several public parking lots at around $1/hour (after 3 PM).

• We treat our guests to a complimentary glass of wine or another beverage. BYOB is welcome and appreciated. We also offer cups/glasses.
• Participants must be 21 (show ID to get alcohol)
• Our snacks are not vegan, gluten-free, or dairy-free.
