Whether you're an experienced artist or have never picked up a paintbrush, this event is for everyone. Come enjoy an afternoon or evening of creativity, connection, and community while helping make a meaningful difference in the lives of childhood cancer survivors.
At BeholdBeGold, we believe surviving childhood cancer should be the beginning of a hopeful future—not the end of the support survivors receive.
Together, let’s paint with purpose and Go Gold for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month!
🎨 ABOUT THE EVENT
Please select ONE painting session when registering:
🖌️ Session One: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
🖌️ Session Two: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
✨ This is a free-form, self-guided painting experience. No instructor will be leading the session. Guests will be provided with a canvas, paints, brushes, and inspirational artwork to help spark ideas.
Create something meaningful, have fun, and help support childhood cancer patients and survivors!
🎗️Create your artwork to take home, or donate it to BeholdBeGold! Donated pieces may be shared at childhood cancer and survivorship events, community outreach, or potentially in local pediatric cancer care and survivorship spaces.
☕ Drinks and pastries will be available for purchase from Canvas & Coffee Art Café.

💛 WHY YOUR SUPPORT MATTERS
Today, about 85% of children diagnosed with cancer survive at least five years after diagnosis, according to the National Cancer Institute. This incredible progress means there is a growing community of childhood cancer survivors whose journey often continues long after treatment ends.
Many survivors experience long-term or late effects that can impact their physical health, emotional well-being, learning, memory, education, employment, relationships, and overall quality of life. While treatment may end, survivorship often brings new challenges that deserve continued awareness, understanding, and support.
Founded by Juanita Prada, a two-time childhood cancer survivor, BeholdBeGold empowers childhood cancer survivors through education, advocacy, survivor-centered resources, awareness, and meaningful community connection.
Your participation helps raise awareness about the lifelong impact of childhood cancer while supporting a future where every survivor feels seen, supported, and empowered to thrive.
50% of event proceeds will directly support BeholdBeGold and its mission to empower childhood cancer survivors.
Together, we can help ensure that childhood cancer survivors are not only celebrated for surviving—but supported as they build the lives they fought so hard to live!
