In this welcoming workshop, Sarah Weeks will guide us through slowing down together to be present and soak up our surroundings: the shimmer of sunlight on the water, the tangle of riverbank grasses, the way the light filters through the trees. We will play with watercolor, gouache, pastels, and colored pencils to explore image-making, capturing the colors, textures, and mood of the St. Croix River.
