Padel in the Shires - Not Everyday London!
Tired of having to travel far out for a vibe? We're bringing something different to the Shires.
Padel in the Shires is a social padel gathering built for locals and newcomers alike — based but not limited to Bedfordshire and the surrounding counties and beyond!
Whether you're a seasoned player or have never picked up a racket in your life, this is less about competition and more about community. Come out, get active, meet new people, and have a good time doing it.
A Special First Session
This is a limited test run event, designed to help shape how future Padel in the Shires sessions will run as we look to grow this community across Bedfordshire and beyond. We'd be honoured to have you join us for this first experience — and with your feedback afterwards, we can implement what's needed to bring even more value and enjoyment to future events.
The session will also include a coaching element for those new to the sport, so don't be afraid to join in. Learn the basics, get involved, and socialise all at the same time.
Hopefully, this is the start of something big.
What to expect:
- A welcoming, relaxed atmosphere where all skill levels are genuinely catered for
- A coaching session included for those new to padel — come learn, play and socialise
- A diverse crowd of like-minded people who are here for the game and the good vibes
- Rackets provided as part of the package — just bring yourself!

Arrival, Welcome & Introductions
Info: Arrive, check in and get settled. Grab your racket rental if needed and get to know some fellow players before we kick off. A quick welcome from the organiser, a brief rundown of how the session will run, and a chance to meet the group before play begins.

Organised Play Begins
Info: Coaching session commences for those new to padel. Rotational social play gets underway following this. Games are organised so everyone gets court time and no one is left out — regardless of level.

End of Session
Info: Official close of the session. Stick around, swap numbers, and continue the conversation off the court.
