The Luton Youth Festival returns with a day filled with free activities and fun.
We're delighted the popular circus skills workshop by Juggling Jim return, alongside Cricket East who will be offer sporting fun for all abilities. You can enjoy cross bows, nerf, hook a duck or shoot basket balls. The Wild life Trust invites you to roast marshmallows and the Scouts host a wide range of hands on fun.
Carnival Arts will host a special family carnival parade, where you can try on the professional costume and enjoy a giant dance around the grounds.
The church itself will become a giant play zone with a wide range of classic toys and craft activities alongside film screenings With inflatable swords, football shoot, art workshops and an obstacle course the event hopes there's something for everyone.
All activities are free and everyone is welcome to bring a picnic or enjoy the ice creams and treats on sale.
Entry to the event and all activities are entirely free though donations are welcome.
During the day you will also have the opportunity to design and try on Carnival costumes, at 3pm UKCCA ha Carnival Parade where anyone who'd like to can pose for the perfect selfie in professional Carnival costumes and enjoy a joyous dance around the grounds of the site.
You can meet Nurse Dessie , (a giant storytelling bear !), and chat with Mary Seacole about their wide range of support and exciting new Virtual Reality heritage projects.
The event is organize by local charity Leagrave Youth/Luton Youth Festival, who volunteer throughout the year to make the event possible. The event is hosted by Leagrave's iconic church, St Luke's who provide the perfect location for the community to unite for a day of free fun.
