Headliner: Mitch Burrow is quickly becoming a favorite at comedy clubs across the country. He placed second in the 2015 Seattle International Comedy Competition and was the winner of the 2015 Trial By Laughter Competition. Mitch is a Marine Corps Veteran that served in Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003. He then started a career in manufacturing before realizing that it sucked. Now, Mitch has found his true calling: entertaining comedy fans with a new take on blue-collar life. A Southerner, born and raised in Georgia, Mitch has spent his adult life traveling the world, and though his stories and observations may not be what people would expect from a typical Southerner, they will make you laugh and keep you entertained.
Feature: Wills Maxwell, Jr. started doing stand-up comedy when he was in 4th grade. His teacher didn't appreciate him interrupting the class, and his parents didn't appreciate him getting in trouble. Due to the lack of appreciation, Wills retired from the business and started doing stand-up comedy again after he left high school. He won Port City’s Top Comic in 2019 and was a regional finalist in StandUp NBC 2018. He can be seen every Thursday morning on WWAY News with his comedy news segment "What Did We Miss?" Wills has performed at the Cola Comedy Convention, the North Carolina Comedy Festival, the Oak City Comedy Festival, and the Cape Fear Comedy Festival. Wills hosted Wilmington's late-night talk show "Late Fear with Wills Maxwell" for three years. He has also opened for several comedians, including Tim Meadows and Jim Gaffigan.
