Paddling Film Festival - 2026 World Tour in REGINA, SK

The 21st annual Paddling Film Festival World Tour kicked off at the Toronto International Boat Show on Thursday, January 22, 2026. Hosted by The Complete Paddler, the premiere event showcased the world’s best paddling films to a packed crowd, including a selection of this year’s award winners.
All proceeds from the screening—totalling over $4,500—went to Project Canoe, an organization that provides educational and therapeutic outdoor programming to at-risk youth, mainly through a summer wilderness canoe trip program.
Kelly McDowell, owner of The Complete Paddler, plans to run additional screenings of the festival at The Complete Paddler. Dates for these upcoming screenings will be posted to the Paddling Film Festival website.
The Paddling Film Festival World Tour screenings continue throughout the year in cities around the world. Shortlisted films are also added to our online viewing platform, Paddling Magazine TV.
In-theater and at-home audiences can vote for their favourite film to win the Turtlebox People’s Choice Award, presented at the end of 2026.
