Paddle the Bay!
About this Event
Join us for a morning of paddle boarding and being with the elements in beautiful Ballena Bay, Alameda.
What we’ll do:
We’ll meet in the patio area in front of SeaTrek’s office. There will be a short meet and greet, introduction, and safety talk before getting on the water. The paddle boarding will be a peaceful, leisurely 60 min. journey around the lagoon, passing by the houses on the water, and being with the universal elements. Weather permitting, we’ll go under the bridge and traverse Ballena Bay beach. There will be a few stops as we take in the scenery and our senses.
When we arrive back, we’ll have a light snack, followed by a guided meditation and a sound bath on the beach to honor Mother Earth.
9.30 am to 9.45 am: Meet, gear up, safety talk.
9.45 am to 10.45 am: Paddle around Ballena Bay.
10.45 am to 11:30 am: Back on land. Short break with healthy snacks.
11:30 am to 12 pm: Meditation on the Universal Elements.
12 pm to 12:30 pm: Sound bath on the beach.

- Bottoms can be: shorts, bathing trunks, yoga tights, windbreaker style pants, workout pants.
- Footwear: You can be barefoot on the paddleboard or wear waterproof shoes (ie. Tevas) that have a backstrap (so you won't lose them in the water).
- Available for use at no extra charge, courtesy of SeaTrek: Windbreakers (nylon tops and pants), neoprene jackets, Farmer John/Jane-style wetsuits
- Change of clothes in case you get wet out on the water
- Bottled water
