Paddle of the Sexes 2026!!

Mark your calendars and get your water guns ready because Paddle of the Sexes returns for another round of silly competition and fun!! The ladies will dominate over the fellas in games like Kayak tug-o-war, paddle board runs, races, and more! Medals will be awarded, prizes will be given, and memories will be made!
Everyone will launch (ideally) by 9am from KP Hole in Dunnellon, FL and head up towards Gissy Springs. We’ll have pot luck style snacks and luncheon while socializing and games are going on.
And no, we certainly will not miss our traditional water gun war! 💦🔫
This event has been a blast in the past when we held them, and should be taken as just silly fun, not a serious competition. Nobody will be pushed into events they do not wish to participate in, but you are all welcome to laugh at our attempts to one up one another! ;-)
Each individual is responsible for their level of enjoyment and their own personal safety.
Members of the admin team will be on hand, so FREE Kayak Junkie Stickers will be available to those who attend! Award medals, prizes, great memories, and bragging rights are expected! So mark your calendars now, put in those PTO requests, and get your water guns ready to join us for the return of Paddle of the Sexes!!!!
This is a great event to bring family, friends, neighbors, or coworkers!

By joining this group, RSVPing to events and attending events, you are confirming that you have read, understand, accept and are legally bound by the following:
1. Kayak Junkies of Central Florida is a meet up group. Attending events or trips is voluntary by you as a member. Participation in any activity with us by you is at your own risk. You assume the risk for any guest you bring, adult or minor.
2. By joining Kayak Junkies of Central Florida as a member you agree to indemnify and hold harmless the group, it’s organizers, co-organizers, event hosts, other members and guests from all claims or liability of every type (including court costs and legal fees) for injury or death to any person or for the damage to property, loss of personal property or other wrongful act arising out of or relating to your participation as a member. This agreement applies to you and to other persons who may accompany you in these endeavors adult or minor.
3. You also agree to hold the organizers as well as other group members harmless. By participating voluntarily in the group, you waive any and all such claims against each and every other member and their guests in the group, including without limitation any and all claims against the group organizers, co-organizers, assistant organizers and event hosts.
4. Any social events or trips that Kayak Junkies of Central Florida holds or provides information about will fall under the same Disclaimer and Liability guidelines listed above.
