Paddle n Pint to Trout Inn @ Wansford
Meet ready to launch 6pm Frodingham Landing - an opportunity to meet other local paddlers. Event is free but £5 launch free paid to Driffield navigation is required either online or in cash into the box in the car park.
Well paddle up to Trout Inn @ Wansford, grab a drink before heading back.
Launching at 6.00pm well paddle up to The Trout Inn a distance of 3.1 miles passing under the bridge at Brigham and portage around Snakeholme Lock Total Distance 6.2 miles
We will aim to be at Trout Inn for 7.30pm and need to leave no later than 8.15 to arrive back at Frodingham around sunset (9.30 pm)
This is a peer paddle where we collectively make decisions. It’s not guided and no one is in charge. We will travel at a relaxed pace (2 miles / hour) but isn’t suitable for new paddlers. You must be able to look after yourself, self recover and help others if needs be. All paddlers to comply with paddle uk safety guidance and wear a pfd and leash
If on the Wed before the conditions are not favourable the event will be cancelled. It’s your decision on the day to paddle taking into account your paddling ability and weather. This may involve a prolonged paddle into the wind dependant on the direction, if the journey takes longer we may turn around before arriving at the pub to ensure we get back to Frodingham in daylight
