Pachucos of the 1940s: More Than a Suit
About this Event
When many people hear the word Pachuco, they picture the famous zoot suit—long coats, wide-legged pants, and a bold style. But Pachucos were much more than the clothes they wore, they were young Mexican Americans who used fashion, music, and language to express pride in who they were during a time of widespread discrimination. Presented by La Familia Unida Pachucos y Pachucas de Arizona.
