About the Event:
Following the success of her acclaimed Western Australian concerts, award-winning violinist Emily Gelineau brings Tea for Two to Brisbane for the first time. A Berklee College of Music graduate and Grammy-winning recording artist, Emily blends jazz, gypsy jazz and classical influences with warmth and virtuosity.
Joining her is Hobart violinist Charlie McCarthy, of Django’s Tiger and the Postclassical Violin series. Together they recreate the joyful chemistry of Grappelli and Menuhin through sparkling violin duets, improvisation, stories and beloved classics.
An evening of elegance, swing and shared delight.
