O,ysters!: Taste & Ode

Join Oyster Specialist Shley Suarez-Burgos for an oyster tasting and ode with the Lazy Oyster at Gramps Getaway. You'll learn about the local history, ecology, biology, and conservation efforts of oysters while being guided through proper oyster-eating using mindfulness and sommelier techniques. In addition to the tasting experience, there will be a poetry workshop portion facilitated by Nicole Combeau.

Oysters!: Taste & Ode explores how to best pair oysters through taste and poetry. Participants will taste 3 varieties of oysters, with an optional beverage pairing, receive a laminated tasting wheel, and be provided pallet cleaners.

Event is located inside the Mangrove Room at Gramps Getaway.
