Join the Friends of Cape Florida for a unique Earth Day event featuring a LIVE PERFORMANCE & WORKSHOP by the Recycled Orchestra of Cateura.
We are collaboration of many community oriented organizations and groups to bring education, art, education about recycling, reusing and reducing practices to all. This is an inclusive event, free (with ticket) and open to the general public.

WHAT TO EXPECT
9:00AM
Meet the RECYCLED ORCHESTRA and hear their story. You can watche their inspiring documentary .
10:00AM - 12:30PM
FREE WORKSHOP to build your own instruments from recycled materials and discarded "trash".
Enjoy art-making stations with local artists and our rangers
Foodtrucks will offer refreshments and snacks for purchase
1:00PM COMMUNITY CONCERT: Play your self-made instruments and perform with the Recycled Orchestra.
2:00PM Event ends around 2PM. Guests can remain in the park and beaches, visit the lighthouse and giftshop until sundown.
