A unique event that's been brought to life by 2 purpose-driven, inspiring speakers!

Combining their expertise and lived experiences, they want to raise awareness and funds for Prostate Cancer UK and MIND, while delivering 2 talks focused on personal growth, building resilience and creating higher self-belief.

Both have been supported by these two leading charities for prostate cancer and mental health.

You will hear 2 different talks from Gary and Javed that are focused on helping people develop a growth mindset, build strong resilence and become more confident in shaping and transforming their lives.

Their talks are packed with personel stories and techniques they have used to overcome challenges.

During the event there will also be a Q&A.

All proceeds will be shared between Prostate Cancer UK and Mind.

Gary Cox - Business Growth and Individual Capability Building Coach

Gary’s story demonstrates that anything is possible in your career if you convert to a growth mindset and take ownership of your career.

From leaving school with no qualifications, through home study while working as a forklift truck driver, he became a qualified accountant. His desire to solve problems, bring positive changes and encourage people to go beyond any limitations, led to him leading multiple functions in EMEA at a Senior Director level for a top 50 US Fortune 500 company.

In 2020, he followed his passion and is now a full-time business coach, mentor & conference speaker with a purpose. He delivers coaching sessions to help senior leaders develop capabilities within their organisation. He also mentors’ individuals to help them advance in their careers. He worked on the governments,” Help to grow scheme”, as an SME Business Mentor.

In 2023, the Executive Dean at Leeds University honoured him with an award for his work Mentoring students at Leeds Business School.

In April 2023, he was diagnosed with prostate cancer. 4 weeks after his brother was diagnosed with the same disease.

Javed Bobat - Co-Founder at IFF Talent and F=@#! Mental Health CIC

Javed Bobat has a rare skill set where he is a mental health speaker, workplace well-being advocate, Mental Health First Aid instructor and Finance Recruiter! He is a co-founder of IFF Talent - an ethical recruitment brand and founder of F=@#! Mental Health CIC, a non-profit he set up in 2019 to raise mental health awareness in the workplace.

The CIC is a purpose-driven socially motivated venture to try and make a difference, set up on the back of his own lived experience of depression, anxiety, addiction and suicide.

Through the CIC, he provides one-on-one mental health support to individuals and line managers. In addition, he also delivers Mental Health First Aid training, bespoke mental health/workplace wellbeing training, talks, workshops and events.

He has worked with some notable businesses, from FTSE100 businesses like Burberry and other blue chip companies including Asda, Serco and Liberty Global, as well as SMEs, charities and non profits.
