Beer awards aren't everything, but they sure can be fun. For beer competitions, qualified judges evaluate samples, W**d out flaws, provide feedback to brewers, and select winners for recognition.
Join us as international beer judge David Nilsen introduces the class to the world of beer judging, walks through how beer evaluation is done, and explains what beer awards do and don't mean. He'll describe and illustrate common off-flavors, and then attendees will have the chance to judge a beer sample on their own!
