About this Event

Join us for one of the bike rides and after-rides social at the Over Community Centre in support of the Over Day Centre, this year to help raise funds for enhancing the garden areas around the Centre with attractive beds, enabling clients to enjoy garden activities. See old friends, make new ones; perhaps join as a group.

Free refreshments provided on Family Rides and all children completing the course will receive a medal (to be collected from Over Community Centre at the end).

The after-event entertainment will have BBQ, live music, raffle and bar at the Over Community Centre, with refreshments and ice-cream.

Conditions of entry

Please be aware participants are responsible for their own medical condition, ensuring they are fit to complete their chosen ride. Please consult your doctor if you have any medical condition that may affect your ability to take part, as the organisers can take no responsibility for any injuries or health issues incurred. Compliance with the Highway Code and the Countryside Code is a condition of entry.

The organisers strongly recommend wearing a correctly fitted helmet while taking part in this event, however we also support the right of each individual to choose whether or not to accept this recommendation.

Under-16 riders must wear a helmet and be accompanied by a responsible adult.

What do I need to bring with me?

Remember this is the UK so keep an eye on the weather forecast in case you need to bring something waterproof with you!

A small multi-tool, tyre levers and a pump or CO2 inflator should get you out of most minor mishaps. You should consider bringing at least one inner tube, but remember that with poor road surfaces, the likelihood of a puncture is increased so you may want to bring two just in case.  A puncture repair-kit will get you rolling if you're really unlucky and use all your spare tubes.

We will be operating a 'broom wagon' for the 50km and 100km routes to collect you and your bike should you be unable to make it back to the finish.
