Join us on Thursday, February 27th at 7pm in Toronto's Imperial Pub (near the Eaton Centre) for an evening of featured and open mic poetry readings 👏 📝
Stedmond Pardy is a self educated, left handed poet of Caribbean Canadian descent, from Lakeshore Mimico area He has performed his work on stages & radio in Toronto, Alberta, Montreal, Nova Scotia & the Seattle/Washington state areas. His first full length book of poetry “The Pleasures Of This Planet Aren’t Enough” was published in 2021. He has released an audio book to accompany it. “Beached Whales” is his 2nd book of poetry published by Mosaic Press in 2024
Andy Ruffett has been a proficient writer since he was in Grade 4. While Andy enjoys writing novels in Young Adult and Mystery fiction, he occasionally dabbles in poetry, short stories, and essays. Andy has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Creative Writing and English Literature from York University and runs a writers' group known as If The Words Fit, where he and his fellow writers discuss and workshop various writings monthly. Andy's dream is to one day become a successful novelist with various published works under his belt. He hopes his readers enjoy reading him as much as he enjoys writing him. Tonight, he will be reading from one of his upcoming novels: REAL ART. He hopes you enjoy the book and speak to him after the reading.
