Are you looking for a DANCE GATHERING that does not involve drugs and alcohol? A new way of connecting to yourself and others that is healthy and natural, sober and liberating. Every Thursday night 80-100 like-hearted humans get together to dance, dance, dance to a wide range of amazing music! Ecstatic Dance is becoming the new yoga. Who are we?
We are a conscious weekly dance gathering centred around the love of dancing to good music with others. Every week is a real, grounded, joyful, exuberant and liberating gathering of beautiful human beings. You’re all welcome to come dance and express your body however you wish.
Every Thursday our DJs play uniquely crafted musical journeys which span multiple genres, reflecting rhythms and styles from around the planet, inviting us into a space of wholeness and connection, wilderness and freedom. The music becomes a guiding force that unites us, helps us to let go and move with ourselves and each other in a shared experience of rhythm and sound.

Malaika Darville is a powerful shaman, ceremonialist, yogi, musician, Ecstatic Dance facilitator, and DJ, with a wealth of life experiences.

Malaika is an International Movement Facilitator. She brings a wealth of Earth Wisdom, having walked the Shamanic path for a lifetime.
Across the globe, she is known for her ability to re-connect individuals with their inner body spirituality, helping all who practice with her to access higher realms of consciousness, authenticity, and Self Love.
She has traveled and lived with indigenous cultures and facilitated groups in Australia, New Zealand, India, Sri Lanka, Spain, Holland, Egypt, China, USA, Costa Rica, Portugal, and Bali with over 30 years of experience.
She has taught at the world's top events including Burning Man, Symbiosis, Festival of Bliss, Tantra Festival Thailand, Woodford Folk Festival, Bellinger Global Carnival, Peats Ridge Festival, Ibiza Tantra Festival, Bali Spirit Festival, BOOM Festival and numerous private events.
Malaika’s accreditations include being a qualified ISHTA yoga teacher, Qualified Water Dance Practitioner, Hawaiian Body Worker, Permaculturist, African Dance performer and teacher, Ecstatic Dance Dj, Ceremonialist, and Creatrix of 5Elements Dance Activation™ - a shamanic dynamic meditation dance journey embodying the five cardinal elements, earth, water, fire, air, and spirit. She is a Wisdom Keeper and inspirational facilitator who has been at the forefront of the global consciousness movement.
Malaika is dedicated to creating sacred space through ritual, ceremony and embodiment to bring personal and planetary awakening, restoring balance to our distorted, over-civilized culture.
Ecstatic dance is freestyle dance - move however you wish - honour your body - dance with bare feet - no experience necessary - all ages, genders, cultures, sizes are welcome - respect yourself and one another - bring comfortable clothes to move in - bring water to drink - alcohol-free and recreational drug-free - safe and sacred space - let the music take you on a journey - see you on the dance floor

We invite you to ...
We invite you to dance, sweat and connect with yourselves and each other. This is a place where you can feel free to move and express whatever is alive in you and whatever comes up when you shake up your cells. It is also nonverbal, barefoot, alcohol/drug-free to keep the experience intentional. Together we create a safe space for dance and authentic connection that is healing, inspiring and uplifting. Community, music and dance is our medicine.

INCREDIBLY SPACIOUS. Our weekly dances are held in a 5000 sq. ft. church hall with high ceilings, huge windows, amazing hardwood floor & a crystal clear high fidelity sound system.
