Excited to host another Family Meditation Class- this time its outdoors with cats!!!
You do not have to have kids to join this space, but this class will be directed more towards families. All will gain beneficial tools and an amazing space to slow down intentionally.
This class would be suitable for kids ages 5 and older.
Join us for a playful, family-friendly evening of mindfulness where children and adults explore stillness through curiosity instead of perfection.
Not to mention the cats on the hobby farm tend to want to join us!!!
As summer begins to slow down and the school year approaches, life naturally starts to speed up. Schedules return, backpacks fill, calendars become fuller, and it's easy to move from one thing to the next without taking a breath. What if, before stepping into a new season, your family created space to simply be together?
This Outdoor Meditation class for families invites us all to step away from the noise and into the rhythm of nature. Together we'll slow down, learn some breathwork, awaken our senses, explore a gentle guided meditation with crystal singing bowls. This isn't about asking children to sit perfectly still. It's about discovering that mindfulness can be found while listening to birds, feeling the breeze, watching the clouds drift by, and sharing moments of genuine connection with one another.
Sometimes the most meaningful way to prepare for a busy season isn't by doing more. It's by creating space to reconnect with yourself, each other, and the present moment before the next chapter begins.
Practical Mindfulness for Everyday Life
The tools taught are perfect for any age and stage in meditation.
• The Check-In: A gentle start where we practice non-judgment, simply noticing how we show up.
• 3 Micro-Practices: Rapid-fire tools like the 2-minute brain dump to clear mental noise and the 2-minute thank-you to shift your inner landscape. Includes a 2-minute thought visualization.
• Guided Breath & Somatic Integration: Each week, you'll learn a new "big tool," like a mudra or a self-holding technique, specifically chosen so you can take the "frequency" of the farm home with you to manage stress in real time.
Event Logistics
