Music is an ancestor, a transmission of joy and longing from the deepest parts of our DNA. We speak in song here, a kind of boogie-woogie code which reaches into you — reminding you of all the mirrors you have ever held within. During this electrojazz odyssey, we will discover a Self which has no real name. It is simply the sound of creation itself, shooting from star to star inside your personal universe.
MISSING PIECE is performed by — Rupak George with carefully crafted electronic compositions on Ableton. Isuru Wijesoma with stringed effects and all manner of prowess on double-necked guitar. ArunDitha with Otherworld vocals and lyrical concept. Prepare to jive, fellow travellers. This is not your ordinary jazz show, it will take you on a journey to the Other Side.
About Mantravine
Mantravine is a Singapore-based Neo-Ethnic Fusion band crafting alternative worlds through organic sound — blending contemporary electronics, global rhythms, live instruments, spoken word, and vocals. Composed of Rupak George (Ableton producer), Isuru Wijesoma (double-necked Hindustani slide guitar), and ArunDitha (lyrics and vocals).
