Out in the Monument: Santa Rosa and San Jacinto Mountains

Join us for a fun, educational event featuring speakers and activities to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Santa Rosa and San Jacinto Mountains National Monument! We will have free food, a silent disco, scorpion hunting, and a quiet corner to write postcards and pledges for public lands.

There will be LIMITED PUBLIC PARKING for this event. For one night only, a free shuttle provided by Sunline will cycle between the following stops:

• University of California at San Bernardino College Hub: on Cook and Dinah Shore
• Monterey at College of the Desert: southbound side
• Event location in the Santa Rosa and San Jacinto Mountains National Monument

Bring:

• your best black light clothing!
• closed toe shoes
• a refillable water bottle

This event is organized by Cactus to Cloud Institute, California Environmental Voters Education Fund, CalWild, Friends of the Desert Mountains, and Mojave Desert Land Trust.
