“Our Freedom: Then and Now”

Be part of a unique collaborative art workshop where we will begin to build a stunning 3D Phoenix sculpture – a symbol of resilience, hope, and rising together.
Following the success of our first session, this second workshop is open to participants of all ages who wish to co-create part of a large-scale community installation for the upcoming “What Does Freedom Mean to Us Today?” exhibition.
🎨 We’ll be using willow, tissue paper, paint, and collage to shape the wings and body of the Phoenix.
📷 A professional photographer will be present to document the making process. Please let us know your preferences on being photographed — portraits, hands only, or artwork only.
🧃Light refreshments will be provided.
🧑🤝🧑 Ideal for families, teens, and adults. No experience needed — just bring your imagination!
The final sculpture will be unveiled on Saturday 8 November as part of a public exhibition at Exeter Library.

Запрошуємо на унікальну творчу майстерню, під час якої ми почнемо створювати вражаючу 3D скульптуру Фенікса — символ надії, стійкості та спільного відродження.
Після натхненної першої зустрічі, ця друга майстерня відкрита для всіх охочих — дорослих, підлітків і родин з дітьми — хто бажає долучитися до створення великої інсталяції для виставки «Що для нас сьогодні означає свобода?».
🎨 Ми працюватимемо з лозою, папером, фарбами та колажем, створюючи крила та тіло Фенікса.
📷 Професійний фотограф буде присутній, щоби задокументувати процес. Просимо повідомити заздалегідь, якщо ви маєте побажання щодо зйомки (портрети, тільки руки або лише мистецькі роботи).
🧃 Пропонуватимуться легкі частування.
🧑🤝🧑 Майстерня підходить для всіх — досвід не потрібен, лише бажання творити!
Готову скульптуру буде представлено під час відкриття виставки у суботу, 8 листопада, у Бібліотеці Ексетера.
