Our workshops are practical and hands on with an emphasis on learning through the body
Understand how the body works (ie physiology and hormones) in labour and how to prepare your body to give you the best chance of a positive birth.
To apply Active Birth principles to your pregnancy and labour, wherever you're planning to birth
Learn powerful and effective pain coping practices which will allow you to stay focused and centred in labour
How best to support a birthing woman and work as a team during labour and beyond, so you both feel empowered
Dealing with complications – sometimes labour turns out to be different to what you had hoped for. What to do and how to stay empowered, including spinning babies and biomechanics for birth techniques
